Swedish Christmas Market in Lausanne

IMG_0931This weekend the Swedish Church held their annual Christmas market in Lausanne. As usual we went there to get some of the “essentials” for Christmas like smoked eel, “lutfisk”, herring to pickle, elk sausage etc…

EOS_20101204_0380Luckily the snow stopped last evening so the roads where reasonably clear. It was rather cold last night though. When we woke up this morning there was 40 cm long icicles hanging from the roof outside of our bedroom window.

After the shopping we stopped for lunch at an Italian restaurant which have opened rather recently in Divonne Les Bains. Now Tim is decorating some spruce cones for Christmas while Cassandra is playing Dirt 2 on the PS3 and JJ is in front of his computer, as usual.
