Today we finished making the Christmas candy. Several varieties of Chocolate truffles, chocolate dipped marzipan, and chocolate plates with nuts and candied cherries to add to the raspberry toffee and ice chocolate that was made earlier.
While we made the candy, Bodil also prepared the Christmas ham and Rullsylta on the stove. Yesterday the herring was pickled. Now all that’s left is to bring in and decorate the Christmas tree and we’re set for Christmas but that have to wait for tomorrow morning as is the tradition.
