20:dag Knut–Christmas is officially over

Today is 20:dag Knut in Sweden, the day when Christmas is officially over. Bodil took down of the Christmas decorations during the day (well most of them anyway, it takes quite some time to get everything down) and when I came home from I cut the Christmas tree to pieces and took it out. The kids complained that it was much darker in the room when all the lights where gone.

In the old days, when the Christmas three was decorated with candy, pepparkakor and other edibles the kids would rush to the tree and eat the stuff today. I do not think anyone does that any more though. Eating dusty old stuff that have been hanging for almost a month in the Christmas tree is not very palatable for most people these days.
