Lunch at the new Belgian restaurant in St Genis

Lunch at the new Belgian restaurant in St GenisToday, to Timothy’s great joy we finally managed to have lunch at the new Belgian restaurant that we missed the last time since there was no tables left when we arrived. This time Bodil made a reservation already last Thursday. That was a wise move since it was really full and several people were turned down or had to wait while we were there.

Not surprisingly, it being a Belgian restaurant after all, the menu consisted mostly of moules frites in various sauces forms and shapes. Bodil and Cassandra went for the classical Moules Mariniers while me and Jonathan took the house classic which was moules, of course, in crème fraiche sauce with celery and white wine.

Lunch at the new Belgian restaurant in St GenisTimothy was halfway to heaven when he found moules with giant shrimps and octopus rings. The waitress was impressed by his choice.

It was quite good and we will probably go back there. Actually I might suggest it at the office for a team lunch.
