Shopping, Italian charcuterie and gardening…

Enjoying the charcuterie we bought at the Prevessin food fairWell, what the title says was our yesterday. JJ needed some new clothes and they had a sale in one of the shops at Val Thoiry so we dragged him away from his computer for a couple of hours so we could restock his clothes supply. It was nice weather so it was actually rather nice got get out of the house for a little drive.

Excellent stuff but then we already knew that since we had tasted the stuff before we bought it. We added some cheese as well of course.

First spring gardening for the year...and it is officially not sThe afternoon we spent doing the first spring gardening for the year…and it is not even spring. As you can see from the photos Bodil engaged in her favorite type of gardening work. First spring gardening for the year...and it is officially not sThat is, chopping things down. I started to dig into the huge pile of branches from the “rose tree” that the snow ruined for us. Obviously there is no way that I can get it into the car without cutting it down to reasonable lengths of the branches. That got boring already after the tenth branch or so. I think I managed to get through a bit more than half of it in a afternoons work though.
